Pros Defeat Amateurs at Beaver Cup
HOT SPRINGS, AR (Oct. 31, 2010) -- The Arkansas PGA Chapter Professionals won the Inaugural Randy Beaver Cup 20-12 today at the Hot Springs Country Club. The professionals carried a 10.5 to 5.5 lead after Saturday’s Four-Ball and Foursome Matches and won Sunday’s Singles 9.5 to 6.5 for the final margin of victory. The Professionals were led by Captain Dan Snider and the Amateur Captain was Mitch Beaver, Randy Beaver’s son. Complete results of all matches, as well as a photo of the winning team, will be posted by Monday afternoon.
