Palm Beach County Senior: Rosenbaum the victor
The overall and net champs
PALM BEACH, Fla. (Sept. 30, 2007)-- Marc Rosenbaum took the lead on a two-stroke swing at the 14th hole Sunday and held on to win the 28th annual Palm Beach County Senior Amateur Championship at Quail Ridge Country Club.
Rosenbaum and Bill O’Keefe were even at the turn, then O’Keefe took the lead with birdie at the par-5 11th hole.
But at the par-4 14th, Rosenbaum birdied and O’Keefe bogeyed.
Coming in, they matched birdies at the par-3 15th and par-4 17th holes. Each closed with 73 on the 6,505-yard North course, Rosenbaum winning by one, 143 to 144, for his first Palm Beach County Golf Association victory.
Dana de Windt was the overall low net winner among 90 starters with a pair of 69s for 138 (gross score 74-74--148).

Format is 36-holes of stroke play with Senior (50-
59),
Super Senior (60-69), and Legend (70+) divisions.
