RANCHO SANTA FE, CA (March 21, 2017) -- For USC the last 36 hours have included four match play wins and a second consecutive team title at the SDSU March Mayhem.

In the final at The Farms Golf Club the top-seeded Trojans faced six-seed BYU and handled the Cougars with ease, winning the title match 4-0-1. For USC it was their third win of the season.

USC received full points in the championship tilt from Gabriella Then (2&1), Muni He (2&1), Allisen Corpuz (2&1) and Victoria Morgan (2 up).

When play was called due to darkness Tiffany Chan was 1 up in her match, however it was decided that the match would be halved.

Throughout the tournament USC cruised through the first three rounds with a 4-0-1 win in the first round over No. 16 Yale, a 5-0 sweep in the quarterfinal against No. 9 Old Dominion and then a 3-1-1 semifinal win against No. 12 Fresno State in the semifinals.

For BYU the road to the finals was a bit more difficult. In the first round they outlasted No. 11 Idaho 3-1-1, No. 3 Arizona 4-1 in the quarterfinals and then No. 7 Pepperdine 3-2 in the semifinals.
