Ryan Rozic wins Platinum Coast Invitational by three shots

ROCKLEDGE, FL (December 4, 2016) -- Eastern Florida freshman Ryan Rozic closed with a 2-under 69 to finish 1-over and as the three-stroke winner at the Platinum Coast Invitational hosted by Rockledge Country Club. Rozic, a past Florida Junior Match Play runner-up, rebounded nicely on day two from a first round 3-over 74.
Jack Comstock (+4) was second, first round leader Alex DeGunzberg (+8) ended up a distant third, Gray Barnes (+9) placed fourth while Josh Postlewait (+11) and Shanren Brienen (+11) shared fifth.
In the Senior Division Dave Muldowney took the title and the Flight Flight was won in a playoff by Trent McGoffin on the second hole over Richie Painter.

mix of Florida & college players played since 1961.
Past Champions include Hale & Beau Baugh and
Scott Gump. Played at traditional private country
club on tree lined course built in 1919 with small
greens. A good test.
