NAPLES, FL (September 28, 2016) -- A big final day propelled Michael Cox and Jacques Legere to the Florida Senior Four-Ball title at Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club. Cox and Legere began the final day five-strokes off the pace but exploded with a 9-under 63 to reach 13-under and four in front of the teams of Bill Moore and Kevin Macy; Fred Stones and Walter Himelsbaugh.

The winning duo opened with a 4-under 68 before going low during Wednesday's final round. Moore and Macy jumped in front on Monday with a 9-under 63 of their own but were hurt by a final day even-par 72 that kept them at 9-under.

The Super Senior Division went to Robert Lundquist and Kim Schwencke after tallies of 67-66 brought them to 9-under and four shots clear of Brian Sachs and Jim Carley in second place at 5-under.

With a 4-under score Gene Ryzewicz and Thomas Medlin were third.
