Cameron Clarke Leads Mississippi State Am
MADISON, M.S. (June 2, 2016) -- Cameron Clark leads the Mississippi State Amateur after an impressive 8-under 64 opening round.

The Pittsboro, M.S. native carded eight birdies and no bogeys at the nearly 7200 yard Reunion Golf and Country Club. Clark is following in the footsteps of last year's champion Wilson Furr who is also in the 2017 high school class. He currently holds a two-shot lead over Cecil Wegener and Neil Trimm who each fired 6-under 66's.

Three rounds of strokeplay remain with the field cut to the low 60 and ties after tomorrow's second round.
