YORK, PA (May 17, 2017) - In a playoff Zachary Herr and Jake Reilly prevailed at the Pennsylvania Better-Ball Championship. It took two playoffs holes but Herr and Reilly were able to outlast Drew Taylor and Ross Pilliod at Out Door Country Club.

Both teams finished the 36-hole event tied at 11-under and headed back to the 18th hole for a sudden death playoff. After both teams parred the hole they returned to the tee for a second go around. The second time proved to be the charm for the victorious duo as Reilly was able to roll in a six-foot birdie putt to win the playoff.

Herr and Reilly played spectacular golf on the day as they shot a bogey-free 8-under 64. They began their round with birdies on five of their first eight holes, including three straight to begin the day. In the 36-holes they registered just three bogeys.

Taylor and Pilliod surged on the back nine to earn their spot in the playoff going 5-under with a 31. They got their run started with a birdie on No. 11 and then an eagle on the par-5 13th. Following a bogey on 15 they birdied the final three holes. It was all part of a closing 6-under 66.

The teams of Matthew Henry and Bobby Stiffler; Brent Will and Jeff Frazier finished tied for second at 10-under.
