Tom Bartolacci Among Final Four in Penn. Senior Match Play
BUCKINGHAM, PA (May 11, 2016) - Tom Bartolacci, the reigning Pennsylvania Senior Player of the Year, is among the semifinalist at the Pennsylvania Senior Match Play. The 2016 matches will continue tomorrow at Lookaway Golf Club with the first match set to tee off at 8:00 a.m and the second 15 minutes behind. Following the conclusion of the semifinals the championship match will follow.

Tom Bartolacci reached the final four after a tight quarterfinal match where he defeated Stan Namola 1 up. Bartolacci will face Kenneth Phillips in the semifinals following his 3&2 quarterfinal win over Joe Corsi.

The other semifinal tilt is between Paul Schlachter, a 7&6 quarters victory over Michael Domenick and Bob Beck who upended Robin S. McCool 4&2 in the quarterfinals.


The championship match is set in the Super Senior Division and it will feature Dave DeNezza and Bernie Zbrzeznj. They will tee off at 8:30 a.m, 15 minutes after the second senior match begins.

DeNezza reached the finals thanks to a 3&2 win over Mike F. McGuire while it took 21 holes for Zbrzeznj to outlast Frank S. Polizzi.

ABOUT THE Pennsylvania Senior Match Play

Invitation only event consisting of the top 15 players on the Pennsylvania Golf Association Senior Amateur Player of the Year standings and the club champion of the host club. Format is a round of 16 match play.
