Braden Graham survives to win San Antonio Mid-Amateur Match Play
SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 1, 2016) - After a long weekend of golf at Olmos Basin Golf Course Braden Graham captured the San Antonio Mid-Amateur Match Play. Graham, the 14-seed, defeated 16-seed Andy Aduddell 3&2 in the Sunday final.

Graham is off to a solid start in 2016 with a sixth place finish at the San Antonio Four-Ball Championship and a second place finish in March's 5th Regional Championship. In order to reach the finals Graham had to win four matches and out last the 32 player field.

In the Senior Division the five-seed Bobby Baugh defeated 10-seed Mike Arnold 1 up to win the championship.

ABOUT THE San Antonio Mid-Am/Senior Match Play

18 hole stroke play qualifier to determine a 32- player match play bracket for mid-amateurs and a 16- player bracket for seniors. Open to any male with amateur status, 25 years or older for Mid-Am, and 50 or older for Senior, as of the first day of the tournament residing in Bexar, Comal, Kendall, Kerr, Wilson, Atascosa, Medina, Guadalupe, or Bandera counties for a minimum of three months prior to the Championship date. Active Duty Military residents are exempt from the three month residency requirement.
