Don Reycroft wins inaugural Indian Summer Classic

OSTERVILLE, Mass. — Don Reycroft continued his winning ways, capturing the first annual Society of Seniors Indian Summer Classic in his home state of Massachusetts. He is less than a month clear of winning the Massachusetts Senior Amateur.
Reycroft fired a final-round 67 at Wianno Golf Club, moving ahead of 36-hole leader Peter Van ingen, whose third-round 75 cost him a chance at victory. Van Ingen, of New York, tied for second place with Evan Long of Charlotte, N.C.
In the Super Senior division, Ed Fletcher shot 71 on the final day to take the title by three shots over Bill Lawler and Tom Knapp.
