Jeremy Moore and Daniel Sloan Win Playoff at Players Four-Ball
Jeremy Moore and Daniel Sloan birdied the second hole of a sudden death playoff to defeat Chris Eassy and Scott Friday in the SCGA’s Players Four Ball Championship at Columbia Country Club.
Moore (Mt. Pleasant) and Sloan (Greenville) shot the low round of the day with a 64 and a two day total of 132 to catch the first round leaders, Eassy (Greer) and Friday (Simpsonville). The winning duo combined for eight birdies and no bogies to make up the four shot deficit they had starting the day.
In the First Flight, Will Dennis and Frank Wrenn IV took first place with a total of seven under par 137. Rick Ingle & Taylor Ingle captured the Second Flight with a final round score of 70 and a total of 143.
The 2105 SCGA Players Four Ball Championship was played on the par 72 – 6,837 yard Columbia Country Club in Blythewood, S.C. The field consisted of 45 two-man teams playing Best Ball format conducted over thirty six holes. The Players Four Ball Championship is one of 20 Major Championships conducted annually by the South Carolina Golf Association.
