Pennsylvania Senior Amateur: final results
PAOLI, PA (August 10, 2006) -- The final round of the Pennsylvania Senior Amateur Championship presented by Your Pennsylvania Toyota Dealers was held today on the 6525-yard par 71 Waynesborough Country Club. 2004 Champion, Paul Schlachter from The Club at Nevillewood and first round leader, carded 3 birdies, one bogey and a double bogey on his way to a even par 71 and a two-day total of two-under par 140. Schlachter, 57 of Bridgeville, Pa., had a five-stroke lead after the 27th hole of the championship never relinquishing his lead, even after a double bogey on the par-3 14th hole. Schlachter now joins and elite group of people with five state titles to his name (1998 PA Amateur, 2004 PA Senior Amateur, 2005 PA Senior Better-Ball and 2005 PA Mid-Amateur 2006 Pa Senior Amateur).

ABOUT THE Pennsylvania Senior Amateur
36-hole stroke play event open to any male amateur
golfer, age 55 and older, who is a member of a club
belonging to the Pennsylvania Golf Association.
There
will be a senior and a super-senior (65+) division.
