Oklahoma Senior: Defending champion earns top seed
DUNCAN, Okla. (June 16, 2014) -- The match play field is set for the 2014 Oklahoma Senior Amateur at The Territory Golf & Country Club.
Kirk Wright, the defending champion, shot a 2-under 70 and will be the No. 1 seed when match play begins on Tuesday.
Doug Perry shot 1-under 71 and will start in the lower bracket.
Doug Hughett, the 2013 runner-up, tied for fifth place during stroke-play qualifying.
The field took on Territory Golf & Country Club with the hopes of becoming one of 32 players to move on to the match play portion of the event.
The event wraps up Thursday with the championship match

Open to senior amateurs who are 50 years of age,
residents of Oklahoma and members of the OGA. 18
holes of stroke play will decide a round of 32 match
play bracket.
