Tennessee Four-Ball: Denman, Patterson prevail
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 8, 2014) -- Payne Denman and Brett Patterson teamed up to win the 2014 Tennessee Four Ball at Hillwood Golf Club.
Denman and Patterson knocked off Mitch Thomas and Brendon Caballero in the finale, 4 and 3, after qualifying as the No. 5 seed.
In the quarterfinal match the Middle Tennessee State University Golf Team members had to go to 19 holes against Stoney Crouch and Austin Swafford. The semi-final match was suspended Saturday evening due to inclement weather and was resumed Sunday morning resulting in 4&3 victory over Lucas Tabor and Bodie Bible.
In Sunday afternoon's finale, Denman and Patterson jumped out to an early lead, going five holes up through seven holes before hanging on for the victory.

combined active USGA/GHIN Handicap Index of 16.0

less from a TGA
member club or course. Format consists of 18 holes
of
stroke play
followed by a round of 32 match play.
