Nebraska Sr. Amateur: Krumland rises
COLUMBUS, Neb. (June 3, 2014) -- Mike Krumland separated himself from a logjam near the top of the leaderboard, firing a final-round 68 to win by two shots at the 16th annual Nebraska Senior Amateur at Elks Country Club.
Krumland entered Tuesday's round tied for second place with John Sajevic, Jay Muller and Doug Rose. They were all chasing first-round co-leaders Steve Peterson and Gregg Vonnahme.
Krumland outshot the entire crew to rise and prevail.
Sajevic was alone in second, shooting a 76 in the finale. David Clouse took solo third after bouncing back from an opening 78 to shoot 70 in the final round.
