PNGA Master-40: Hair tops Brandes in final
CLE ELUM, Wash. (May 16, 2014) -- Nate Hair put the finishing touches on his week with a 4-and-3 victory over Tom Brandes in the championship match of the 29th Pacific Northwest Master-40 Championship at the Prospector Course at the Suncadia Resort.
Hair withstood an early start from Brandes, who led after nine holes. But Hair turned it on on the back nine, winning five of six holes to finish the match on the par-3 15th.
“I’m a little overwhelmed by it,” Hair told the PNGA. “There’s a lot of really great players here.”
The event was Hair's first ever PNGA competition.
