Greater Cincinnati Four-Ball: Stars align, battle
CINCINNATI, Ohio (May 6, 2014) -- The stars were out at Losantiville Country Club for the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association Metropolitan Four-Ball.
And, in the end, it was former Major League Baseball star Chris Sabo and partner Nick Lykins who rallied and battled national mid-amateur stars Bill Williamson and Brad Wilder to win the title.
Sabo and Lykins shot rounds of 62-68 to finish 10-under and one shot up on Wilder and Williamson, who finished as the runner-up at the 2013 U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship. Wilder and Williamson led after Round 1 with a 61 but shot 70 in the final round.
Ben and Andrew O'Bryan shot 68-65 to take third place alone.
In the Senior Division, Taylor Metcalfe and Tom Elfers shot 63-64 to win by two shots over Tim Sorrows and Ed Steiber.

members of the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association.
Format is a two-man scramble on day 1 and four-ball
stroke play on day 2.
