Henry Camp Inv: Slagle wins at Ocala
OCALA, Fla. (April 27, 2014) -- Jerry Slagle fired rounds of 70-68-68 to win the 2014 Marion County Golf Association Camp Invitational at Ocala Golf Club.
Slagle, from Texas, edged out David Griffin by just one shot. The pair battled during the final two rounds of the tournament but Slagle's opening round 70 on Friday proved to be the difference maker.
Daniel Owen (70-69-71) and Brent Dorman (68-69-73) tied for third place, finishing four shots back of Slagle's winning score.

was instrumental in the amateur golf scene in the
state
