ASU Thunderbird: Sun Devils, Rahm lead

Arizona State will take a 10-shot lead into Sunday’s final round of the Arizona State Thunderbird Invitational at Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz.
The Sun Devils, No. 34 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, shot 12-under 272 in the second round. The team is lead by sophomore Jon Rahm. Rahm shot 7-under 64 after a 62 in the first round on Friday. He currently holds a six-stroke lead.
Arizona’s Alex McMahon shot a 9-under 62 in the second round to tie for the low round of the tournament, and jumped into second place at 10 under. Arizona State’s Ki Taek Lee and Iowa State’s Nick Voke are tied for third at 7 under.
No. 46 in the rankings, Iowa State is in second at 15 under. Iowa is two shots back of the Cyclones. Arizona is in fourth at 10 under after a 10-under 274 on Saturday. Wichita State and Pepperdine are tied for fifth at 2 under.
