S. Carolina Sr. Four-Ball: Giles/Fulmer lead in tough conditions
GEORGETOWN, S.C. (March 18, 2014) -- In what most remarked “the hardest conditions” they have ever played in, Mark Giles and Tom Fulmer took advantage of a later tee time and shot a first round score of six under par 66 in the SCGA Senior Four Ball Championship at the DeBordieu Club.
Although the leaders missed a lot of the misting rain, cold temperatures and high winds were still prevalent throughout the day and didn’t seem to deter them from taking a five shot lead heading into the final round. Giles and Fulmer bogeyed the first and fifth hole of the day, but reeled off eight birdies throughout the rest of their round to take command.
Leading the First Flight are five teams tied at one under par 75. Six teams are a top the Second Flight at 79.
The final round will be played on Wednesday beginning at 8:00 a.m. For full information including pairings – SCGA Senior Four Ball Championship

With the emphasis on lower handicapped seniors,
the
SCGA was allowed more freedom to move the Senior
Four Ball across the State and the ability set up
more
challenging venues for the players looking for
stronger competition. Not to cut all players out of
the
opportunity to win something, the SCGA flights the
