Oklahoma Sooners win UTSA Oak Hills Invitational

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Feb. 11, 2014) -- Oklahoma, No. 12 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, picked up its second win of the season at the UTSA/Oak Hills Invitational in San Antonio on Feb. 11.
The Sooners finished with a three-round 24-over 876 total at the 6,765-yard par-71 Oak Hills Country Club. Baylor finished in second, five shots back of Oklahoma. North Texas finished at 33 over. Rounding out the top-five were Louisiana and East Carolina at 44 over.
Baylor junior Kyle Jones and sophomore Andreas Gjesteby finished 1-2 on the individual leaderboard. Jones finished with rounds of 69-71-73 for a one-shot victory over teammate Gjesteby. Oklahoma’s Michael Schoolcraft finished in third at 2-over 215.
