SCGA Four-Ball: Funk, Bartman in control
MISSION VIEJO, Calif. (Nov. 12, 2013) -- David Bartman and Robert Funk combined to shoot a red-hot 7-under 64 and take a two-shot lead into Round 2 at the 2013 Southern California Golf Association Four-Ball Championship at Mission Viejo Country Club.
Bartman and Funk started out hot with two birdies before recording birdies on three of their last four holes. The surging start and finish give them a two-shot advantage over the teams of Dick Engel and Anthony Melillo and Sikimon An and Jeff Crossier, which both shit 5-under 66 in Monday's first round.

ABOUT THE SCGA Four-Ball
This event is open to members with handicap indexes
of 6.4 and below. Players will compete over 18 holes of
qualifying four-ball stroke play to determine the 52
teams which advance to the championship. The
Championship is conducted over 36 holes of stroke
play.
