SCGA Four-Ball: Funk, Bartman in control
MISSION VIEJO, Calif. (Nov. 12, 2013) -- David Bartman and Robert Funk combined to shoot a red-hot 7-under 64 and take a two-shot lead into Round 2 at the 2013 Southern California Golf Association Four-Ball Championship at Mission Viejo Country Club.

Bartman and Funk started out hot with two birdies before recording birdies on three of their last four holes. The surging start and finish give them a two-shot advantage over the teams of Dick Engel and Anthony Melillo and Sikimon An and Jeff Crossier, which both shit 5-under 66 in Monday's first round.

The second and final round begins Tuesday morning. Amateurgolf.com will have updated results and recap following the completion of the event.
