Tyler Shelton takes the KGA Mid-Am title at Leawood South
Fairway, KS, native Tyler Shelton fired a one-under par 70 in the second round
of the Mid Am to come back from a one stroke deficit to win the championship.
Shelton trailed first round leader and two-time Kansas Amateur champion Bryan
Norton by one stroke after the first round. The win is the first for Shelton
since being reinstated as an amateur last year. Shelton finished third in the
Mid-Am last year at Willowbend Golf Club in Wichita.
