MAYETTA, Kan. (Oct. 1, 2013) -- In the Senior Team Championship, KGA veterans Tracy Chamberlin and Steve Newman continue their solid play and hold a seven stroke lead heading into the final round on Wednesday. Defending champions Mark Elliott and Mike Grosdidier sit in second at 11-under par and will look for a final round push towards the leaders. In the Super Senior Division, Doug Kaup and Bob Vidricksen hold a narrow one shot lead over round one leaders Jim Seward and Grant Renne who are at 10-under par through 36 holes. In the Senior Net Division, Craig Cooper and Randy Forbes hold the lead at 19-under par net 125 with one round left to play. The Mid-Am Team and Senior Team are 54-hole stroke play team events that feature a different daily format (Rd 1 - Shamble, Rd 2 - Alternate Shot, Rd 3 - Four-Ball). Cart is included for all rounds of the championship. The Mid-Am Team is open to KGA golfers age 25 & older. The Senior Team is open to KGA golfers age 50 & older. Tee times will begin at 8:30 am each day from #1 and #10 tees.

ABOUT THE Kansas Mid-Amateur & Senior Team

Team event with three divisions (Mid-Amateur, Senior, Super Senior). Gross & net scoring for all teams.

54 holes of team stroke play contested over two days. 36 holes on day one, 18 holes on day two. Different format each round. There is no cut.

Daily Formats:
Round One - Shamble
Round Two - Foursomes
Round Three - Four-Ball

Must be a member of the Kansas Golf Association.
