Colorado Sr. Stroke Play: 2 tied for lead
PARKER, Colo. (Sept. 6, 2013) -- Colorado Golf Hall of Famer Kent Moore of Cherry Hills Country Club and reigning CGA Senior Match Play champion Harry Johnson of Eagle Ranch Golf Course moved into a tie for the lead after Thursday's second round of the 42nd CGA Senior Stroke Play at The Club at Pradera in Parker.

Moore, winner of major CGA championships at the open, junior and senior levels, shot a 5-under-par 67 Thursday to match the low round of the tournament. His six-birdie, one-bogey effort left him at 5-under 139.

Matching that total was Johnson, who carded a bogey-free 70 on Thursday. On Friday, Johnson will attempt to become just the second player in the last decade -- joining Robert Polk in 2009 -- to sweep the CGA Senior Match Play and Senior Stroke Play titles in the same year.

Brent Timm of the Pinery Country Club will go into Friday's final round two strokes back of the leaders after carding a 73 on Thursday. Mark Hirsch of Lone Tree Golf Club stands in fourth place at 143, while defending champion David Delich of the Broadmoor Golf Club and first-round leader Sean Forey of Bear Golf Club share fifth place at even-par 144 with David Comeau of Highlands Ranch Golf Club.
