Barnes, Schuller win Connecticut Senior Four-Ball
EAST HADDAM, Conn. (August 26, 2014) — Robert Barnes and Peter Schuller of The Course at Yale captured the 33rd Annual Connecticut Senior Four-Ball Championship on Wednesday at Fox Hopyard Golf Club.
Their four-under par round of 67 included 17 holes decided by that of Barnes, but a birdie-two by Schuller on the 16th proved crucial as the pair one the event by one stroke.
Finishing in solo second place were Mark Durand and Larry Bolduc of Wethersfield Country Club, who unfortunately could not make birdie on the par-five 18th to tie the winning pair.
Four teams finished two shots back with two-under 69s.
