MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Oct. 30, 2012) -- True Temper's Dynamic Gold and Project X are the preferred high-performance shafts for the players who were awarded 2013 PGA TOUR cards at the Web.com Tour Championship this weekend. Of the 25 new PGA TOUR graduates, 23 played shafts designed and manufactured by True Temper Sports.

Demonstrating the overwhelming True Temper favorability, the winner of the Web.com Tour Championship played Dynamic Gold X100 in his irons and Project X graphite in his driver and fairway wood. Similarly, the top overall money winner of the 2012 Web.com Tour played Project X graphite shafts in his 3-wood and hybrid and the new Project X PXi in his irons.

"The Web.com Tour is an intensely competitive venue, and we congratulate all of these 25 players who have risen to the challenge and who will embark on their exciting careers on the PGA TOUR in January," said Chad Hall, director of global tour operations and product marketing for True Temper Sports. "We look forward to continuing to support each of them on the PGA TOUR in 2013 and the years to come by providing the best shafts in the game."

Truth in Numbers:

• Web.com Tour Championship winner's bag: Dynamic Gold X100 irons; Project X graphite in driver & 3-wood

• CIMB Classic winner's bag: Dynamic Gold X100

• True Temper shafts have won 91 tour events on the PGA, European and Web.com Tours this year.

The Number One selling shaft in golf, Dynamic Gold shafts are preferred by skilled players seeking a low, penetrating ball flight. Dynamic Gold features an internal tip reinforcement technology and tighter weight sorting tolerance for precision custom fitting.

The Project X line of shafts are proven winners. Project X graphite is the premier graphite shaft in the game today. The PXi iron shafts feature a unique variable taper design with a dedicated taper rate for each flex. Longer taper rate results in more energy transfer to the ball for a faster and flatter penetrating trajectory.
