OOLTEWAY, Tenn. (May 27, 2012) -- Doug Hanzel of Savannah, GA edged a trio of top ranked senior players to win the Lupton Senior Invitational golf tournament by a single shot on Sunday at the Honors Course.

Hanzel's 111 Stableford points were good enough to beat Brady Exber, Paul Simson and Chattanoogan Neil Spitalny.

Runner-up Simson, the amazing North Carolina player who captured the US, Canadian, and British Senior Amateur in the same year, was recently inducted into the Southern Golf Association Hall of Fame.

Doug Marsh won the super-senior division by nine with 116 points
