Darin Green and Billy Anderson share the lead heading into the final round of the Florida State Public Links Championship at MetroWest Golf Club in Orlando.

ORLANDO, Fla. (June 11, 2011) -- Darin Green and Billy Anderson share the lead heading into the final round of the Florida State Public Links Championship at MetroWest Golf Club in Orlando. The 2011 Championship will continue through Sunday, June 12. Darin Green, of Brandon, fired a first round 68 and followed up with an impressive six-under par 66 to grab a share of the lead heading into the final round. Green's second round included seven birdies and just one bogey for a two round total of 10-under par 134. Billy Anderson, of Deltona, also sits a 10-under par for the championship. Anderson who recently competed in the U.S. Open Sectional qualifier, continued his solid play with a second round of four-under par 68, which included a birdie on the last hole to grab a share of the lead. The Defending Champion, Kevin Aylwin, of New Smyrna Beach, sits alone in third place just two strokes back at eight-under par 136. The Public Links Championship is open to bona fide public course players who are not members of a private club and also do not have a handicap index any higher than 6.4. Competitors play 18 holes of stroke play on each of the three days.
