Savannah senior comes from six strokes back to win by 1 over Randy Elliot

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga (Mar. 7, 2012) -- Doug Hanzel, amateurgolf.com member, started his day six strokes back in a five-way tie for second. He fired a final round 68 on the Seaside Course at Sea Island Golf Club to overtake second round leader, Randy Elliott and capture the inaugural Jones Cup Senior Invitational title. Hanzel's tournament total of 216 (77-71-68) edged Elliott by one stroke, 217 (74-68-75.) Bill Zystra moved up the leaderboard finishing alone in third at 219 (74-74-71). Robert Kulp, amateurgolf.com member and first round leader of both flights, finished up at 222 (70-78-74) to take the super senior division by five strokes over Frank Costanza, 227 (72-78-77.) Don Marsh finished up in third at 229 (82-72-75.)
