The 76th playing of the historic Pasadena City starts this Thursday
PASADENA, Calif. (May 9, 2011) --The Pasadena City starts this Thursday, May 12 at the Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena at 7:05 a.m. Entries have closed and tee times are now available for the 72 hole event with a 36-hole cut.
The Pasadena City is one of the largest city golf tournaments in California, with more that 600 entries and $40,000 in tournament prizes. Each year this historic tournament is held on two outstanding public golf courses, both true tests of golf and always in top playing condition. Brookside course #1 has been a venue for the Los Angeles Open, USGA Public Links and many SCGA and PGA qualifying events. The courses are adjacent to the historic Rose Bowl in beautiful Pasadena, California. Defending champion Greg Moss is not in the field.
