Maria Jose Marin fires 68 at Augusta National to win the 2026 ANWA at 14-under, pulling away from Andrea Revuelta and the field.
Maria Jose Marin delivered a statement finish at Augusta National, flipping the championship and taking control of the 2026 Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
After entering the final round two shots off the lead, Marin surged with a composed and clinical 4-under 68 to reach 14-under, pulling away from the field and securing a four-shot victory at Augusta National.
The Colombian star, already one of the most decorated players in the amateur game, showcased complete control down the stretch. Her round featured steady scoring and poise under pressure, highlighted by key birdies on the front nine and a crucial bounce-back on the back side that kept any challengers at bay.
Overnight leader Asterisk Talley was unable to maintain her position, carding a difficult final-round 75 to fall back into a tie for fourth at 8-under. After leading through 36 holes, Talley’s challenge faded on Augusta National’s demanding layout.
Stanford’s Andrea Revuelta made a late push with a strong closing round to finish solo second at 10-under, while Soomin Oh climbed into third at 9-under after an impressive final-round charge.
A group tied for fourth at 8-under included Kiara Romero, Yunseo Yang, Raegan Denton, and Talley, underscoring the depth of a leaderboard that remained competitive throughout the final round.
