Australian duo deliver dominant wins as Oberle cruises by nine and Harris adds to her rising season
Chase Oberle continued his impressive rise with a commanding nine-shot victory to defend his title at the Keperra Bowl, closing at 21-under 267 (67-70-65-65).
The Brisbane native, set to join Notre Dame this fall, carried a three-shot lead into the final round and pulled away with a second straight 65, leaving the field behind for his second consecutive win in the event.
Taylor Barr finished runner-up at 12-under 276 (71-68-70-67).
Oberle, currently ranked No. 248 in the AmateurGolf.com rankings, continues a strong run of form. After winning both the Keperra Bowl and Queensland Junior Amateur last year, he has already added another victory in 2026 along with a T-6 finish at the Riversdale Cup.
In the women’s division, Amelia Harris of Victoria produced another standout performance, posting 12-under 276 (66-67-72-71) to win by four shots.
Alicia Ludi finished runner-up at 8-under 280 (72-67-68-73).
The 17-year-old Harris, who will join the University of South Carolina later this year, continues to build momentum. She recently won the final Women’s NSW Open regional qualifier and has now added victories at the Rene Erichsen Salver and Keperra Bowl within a strong stretch of results.
