Florida State finished runner-up at 4-over 856 following rounds of 287-283-286.
The win marked Texas’ first title of the season and an important step forward after the Longhorns finished runner-up at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge in California last month.
Texas junior Farah O’Keefe led the charge with a one-shot victory in the individual competition at 7-under par after rounds of 64-70-72. Her opening 64 set the tone, holding off Florida State sophomore Elin Pudas Remler, who finished runner-up at 6-under (69-66-72).
O’Keefe, ranked No. 7 on the AmateurGolf.com Women's Rankings, captured medalist honors at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge—her second collegiate victory. She sealed the title in a playoff against UCLA's Jenny Lee, draining a clutch chip-in on the first extra hole.
Texas placed three players in the top 20: O’Keefe (1st), junior Lauren Kim (7th at 1-under, 68-71-73), and senior Cindy Hsu (T-18th at 3-over, 75-72-69).
Statistically, Texas led the field in par-4 scoring (4.08 average) and recorded 47 birdies—four more than Auburn.
Individually, O’Keefe tied for the best par-4 scoring average (3.85) with Pudas Remler and finished with 14 birdies, second only to Duke freshman Rianne Malixi (15).
Defending champions LSU finished T-6th at 19-over, while 2024 winners Arizona State placed 16th at 38-over.
