Crump Cup semis set: Price, Wyatt, Massa, Slutzky advance at Pine Valley.
Pine Valley, NJ — September 27, 2025. After a dramatic Saturday at Pine Valley Golf Club, the semi-finalists are set for the 100th George Arthur Crump Memorial Tournament. The Championship Flight features defending champion Andrew Price looking to repeat, while the Senior Championship Flight saw the top seed fall in a stunning upset.
It was a day of drama across all flights. In the Championship Flight, Bobby Wyatt outlasted Andrew Bailey before taking down medalist Miguel Ordonez in a tight match. Defending champion Andrew Price was steady under pressure, surviving Kevin Grady and then dispatching Joseph Deraney. Bobby Massa rode a hot putter to edge Dan Walters and then held on against Brad Nurski. Chadd Slutzky stunned Stewart Hagestad in 22 holes before defeating Nick Geyer in extra holes to reach the final four.
The Senior Division was equally compelling. Robert F. Gerwin II handed top-seeded Gene Elliott a 1-up loss, while Arnold Cutrell advanced with a 3-and-2 win. Michael McCoy showed his major championship pedigree, beating Dave Ryan 2 and 1, and Bob Royak needed extra holes to eliminate Seth Sargent. Together, they form a semi-final lineup filled with veteran firepower.
