Ordonez, Davenport, and Peel share medalist honors as Crump Cup match play begins at Pine Valley.
Pine Valley, NJ — September 26, 2025. The qualifying rounds of the 100th George Arthur Crump Memorial Tournament are complete, and three players share Open Division medalist honors at even-par 142: Miguel Ordonez (Panama City, Panama), Will Davenport (Boynton Beach, FL), and Billy Peel IV (Kensington, MD).
Saturday morning’s first-round match-ups are set: Ordonez vs. Bobby Wyatt (Atlanta, GA), Davenport vs. Brad Nurski (St. Joseph, MO), and Peel vs. Stewart Hagestad (Hermosa Beach, CA).
In the Senior Division, Norwalk, Iowa standouts Gene Elliott and Michael McCoy shared medalist honors at 147. Elliott will face Robert F. Gerwin II (Cincinnati, OH) and McCoy will meet Dave Ryan (Taylorville, IL) in Saturday’s opening matches.
Note: Pine Valley Golf Club will not be open to the public for Sunday’s final match of the 2025 Crump Memorial Tournament.
