Qualifying for the U.S. Mid-Amateur championship will take place from July 16 to August 21
Entries are now open for the U.S. Mid-Amateur Qualifying, which will be held from July 16 to August 21 at 69 sites throughout the United States and Mexico. The U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship will be held from September 13 to September 18 at Troon Country Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Last year, Evan Beck defeated Bobby Massa in the final match of the U.S. Mid-Amateur final at Kinloch Golf Club in Midlothian, Va., 9 and 8 after leading 8-up through the first 18 holes.
Beck finished as the runner-up in the 2023 U.S. Mid-Amateur to Stewart Hagestad, falling 3 and 2 in the final match. He is currently ranked No. 2 in the AmateurGolf.com Mid-Amateur Rankings. Beck wasted no time in this one, going 2-up through three holes and 5-up through nine holes.
