Top-ranked amateur Luke Clanton of Florida State returns to the Floridian in hopes of defending his 2024 title
The Valspar Collegiate Invitational is back at the beautiful Floridian Golf Club in Palm City, Fla., from March 24 to March 25.
In the 54-hole event, the field will begin play with 36 holes on Monday, March 24, with a shotgun start and will conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday, March 25, with a shotgun start.
Floridian National Golf Club is a 6,943-yard course that plays as a par 71.

Luke Clanton, the No. 1 ranked player in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings, is back to defend his title from 2024. Other top players are David Ford of North Carolina, Jose Luis Ballester and Preston Summerhays of Arizona State, Jackson Van Paris of Vanderbilt, Tommy Morrison and Christiaan Maas of Texas, Calum Scott of Texas Tech, Jackson Koivun, Carson Bacha and Brendan Valdes of Auburn, and Drew Goodman of Oklahoma.
12 of the top 20 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings are in the field.
Gordon Sargent of Vanderbilt is notably absent from the field. Brentley Romine of the Golf Channel first reported this, which was confirmed after the pairings and tee times were released.
Gordon Sargent is NOT in Vandy's lineup for Valspar Collegiate, which begins Monday.

HISTORY
The Valspar Collegiate is a 54-hole collegiate invitational hosted at The Floridian. Team (best four scores out of five players each round) and individual competitions. Began in 2014 and is already one of the elite college events on the schedule.
COURSE
The Floridian, designed by Gary Player in 1996, was the private course of Wayne Huizenga and was recently sold to Jim Crane. The course has been redesigned by Tom Fazio, with a re- opening in November of 2011. Butch Harmon has signed on to build a Harmon Golf School at the Floridian.
