There was a three-way tie for the individual title, and Tyler Weaver of Florida State won medalist honors in a playoff

For the second season in a row, the Arizona State men's golf team cruised to victory at the Cabo Collegiate at Twin Dolphin Club in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

The Sun Devils finished 14-under with rounds of 276-279-283 to secure the wire-to-wire win by five shots over Oklahoma State.

In an impressive showing, Arizona State put four golfers in the top 30 and five golfers in the top 35.

Oklahoma State finished 9-under and in solo second place, and Florida State finished in solo third place at even=par. The Seminoles were without junior Luke Clanton, the No. 1 ranked amateur in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings. Clanton played in the Cognizant Classic over the weekend and earned his PGA Tour card through the PGA Tour Accelerated Program with his made cut.

In the individual competition, Tyler Weaver of Florida State, Preston Stout of Oklahoma State, and Pongsapak Laopakdee of Arizona State all finished 8-under and tied for the lead after 54 holes. A playoff decided medalist honors, and Weaver came out on top.

Weaver and Laopakdee made a par on No. 18 to force a playoff, and Stout birdied the final hole to join them.

Weaver has had a great start to the year, with a T12 at the 2025 Jones Cup Invitational and a T6 at the 2025 Watersound Invitational.

Stout and Laopakdee finished T2 after the playoff, and Ethan Fang of Oklahoma State finished in solo fourth place at 7-under. Thomas Curry of Arkansas and Michael Mjaaseth of Arizona State finished T5 at 5-under to round out the top five.
