Ole Miss is Bushnell/Golfweek DI Coaches Poll’s first No. 1 for Spring

The Rebels recently started the spring season off with a second place finish at the Puerto Rico Classic
Starting their spring season with a second-place finish at the Puerto Rico Classic on February 12, against a field that included four top-10 teams, Ole Miss received their second straight and second-ever Bushnell/Golfweek DI Coaches Poll No. 1 on February 28. The Rebels received 21 first-place votes and 639 points in the process.
Auburn (two first-place votes), Arizona State (one first-place vote), Oklahoma (one first-place vote), and Texas rounded out the top five. At the same time, Oklahoma State, North Carolina, LSU, Virginia, and Florida completed the top 10.
San Diego State (No. 25) enters the poll for the first time this season.
Michael La Sasso is the highest-ranked player for Ole Miss, currently at No. 22 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf World Rankings.
