After a long weather delay and four inches of rain affected round two, the players will complete round three Sunday morning
After four inches of overnight rain at Taiheiyo Club Gotemba in Shizuoka, Japan, the afternoon wave of golfers in the 2024 Asia-Pacific Amateur were forced to finish their second rounds on Saturday morning.
Rintaro Nakano, the 2023 Japan Amateur champion, leads Wenyi Ding and Rizq Adam Rohizam by two shots at 8-under. The golfers at the top of the leaderboard are all only through the first couple of holes in the third round.
The golfers will complete their third round on Sunday morning and then start the final round.
Ding is the highest-ranked player in the field at No. 9 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings.
