Nick Woo of Novato wins by a slim one-shot margin at Valley Oaks Golf Course

24-year-old Nick Woo from Novato, CA, carded rounds of 70-70 to finish 4-under, clinching victory by a single shot at the Tulare County Amateur Championship hosted by Valley Oaks Golf Course in Visalia, CA.

Woo entered the final round sharing the lead with Zack Tarter from Hanford, both having matching opening rounds of 2-under 70. However, on the final day, Tarter carded a 2-over 74, causing him to fall back and finish sixth at even-par.

Kevin Cook from Clovis secured a runner-up finish with rounds of 5-over 77 and a tournament-low 8-under 64 in the second round, ending at 3-under 141. Meanwhile, Nick Kaiser carded rounds of 72-70 to finish in solo third place, trailing Cook by just one shot at 2-under par.
