U.S. Open Tee Times for Thursday, Friday Announced
It's finally here.

13 years after Tiger Woods holed his historic putt to tie Rocco Mediate on the 72nd hole of championship play (setting up a dramatic playoff he won in 19 holes) the U.S. Open has returned to Torrey Pines.

With California re-opening for business the same week, and crowds in the 10,000 range per day expected, it's going to feel much more normal than many would have imagined just six months ago.

Below, you will find a complete listing of tee times for the first two rounds of the 2021 U.S. Open Championship, Thursday (June 17) and Friday (June 18). The tournament is being played for the second time at the 7,652-yard, par-71 Torrey Pines Golf Course (South Course), in San Diego, Calif.

The U.S. Open is a 72-hole, stroke-play competition. A field of 156 players will play 18 holes of stroke play on June 17 and 18, after which the field will be reduced to the low 60 scores and ties. Those players making the cut will play 18 holes on June 19 and 20. If there is a tie upon the completion of 72 holes, a two-hole aggregate playoff will immediately follow. If this playoff results in a tie, the tied players will immediately continue to play off hole-by-hole until the winner is determined.

Which is exactly what happened in 2008. San Diego fans are ready for similar drama.
