Titleist TSi2, TSi3 fairway woods designed to be scoring weapons

Technological advancements make it easier to hit towering tee shots, fairway-finders, or precise shots from the fairway or rough
Fairway woods have become scoring weapons just as the drivers have, and so technology has to keep up. The same club needs to be able to hit a long, towering shot when the course allows, a straight fairway-finder when the course doesn't, and the ability to hit controllable shots from the fairway turf or longer grass.
Titleist has released its TSi2 and TSi3 fairways, which are designed to handle these widely-varying conditions.
The Titleist TSi2
The TSi2 launches the ball high into the air, with a center of gravity that is lower and deeper into the clubhead. It is built for speed and to forgive off-center hits across the face. The extra speed is generated with a more aerodynamic club head that reduces drag, and an Active Recoil Channel (ARC) serves to provide stability on areas of the face that aren't dead-center.
The TSi2 is available in 13.5, 15, 16.5, 18 and 21 degrees, and is customizable in two ways. First, SureFit hosel has 16 settings that can change the loft by up to 2 degrees either way. Second, there is an adjustable weight in the sole of the club head that can be used by club fitters to change the swing weight and desired ball flight.

The TSi3 is more for the player who wants the ability to better shape shots, and so the weight in the TSi3 can be adjusted by the player to promote a desired ball flight. The TSi3 is available in the same lofts as the TSi2 except for the 21-degree.
The new TSi2 and TSi3 fairways were introduced to the PGA and European Tours in mid-September, and since then more than 150 players around the world have started playing one of the two models.
Top players include Ben An (TSi2), Lanto Griffin (TSi3), Charley Hoffman (TSi3), Charles Howell III (TSi2), Mark Hubbard (TSi2), Matt Jones (TSi2), Patton Kizzire (TSi2), Peter Malnati (TSi3), C.T. Pan (TSi2), Ian Poulter (TSi2), Davis Riley (TSi3), Robby Shelton (TSi3), Cameron Smith (TSi2), Jimmy Walker (TSi2) and Will Zalatoris (TSi3).
The Titleist TSi2, TSi3 fairway woods are available for retail sale for $299 starting November 12, with the choice of Mitsubishi Kuro Kage Black DC, Mitsubishi Tensei AV RAW Blue or White, or Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX shafts and Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grips.
