Final Update: Golf Tournaments Affected by Hurricane Irma
9/26/2017 | by AmateurGolf.com Staff

A list of the amateur tournaments that have been cancelled, postponed or rescheduled due to the impact of Hurricane Irma
Hurricane Irma rolled up the West Florida Coast and into Georgia, affecting millions of people, and inflicting untold damage. Our thoughts and prayers are with all affected by this storm.
As a result of the hurricane, the damage it has inflicted to golf courses, and the associated travel disruptions, many golf tournaments have been cancelled, postponed or rescheduled.
In the latest update, the USGA announced that they were moving the U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship from Quail Creek Country Club in Naples, FL to Champions Golf Club in Houston, TX. Houston was also hard hit by Hurricane Harvey but has recovered enough to host the championship.
If we discover more tournaments affected by Hurricane Irma we will add them to this list, but just about all of the cancelling or rescheduling has now taken place.
