The NHL hockey referee who just happens to play the highest level of amateur golf in his offseason shares his thoughts on Riviera
The professional NHL hockey referee plays competitive amateur golf in his offseason and is currently the 4th ranked mid-amateur in the AmateurGolf.com Mid-amateur Rankings.
His most recent major tournament finish was 5th place in the prestigious Porter Cup tournament in Niagara Falls, NY. He was also the runner-up in last year's Sunnehanna Amateur and has won the Canadian Mid-Amateur three times in a row.
Rank called his first round at Riviera "one of the best rounds of tournament golf I've ever played".
