Playing as the 16-seed Mark Macejewski has won the San Antonio Mid-Amateur Match Play title
FAIR OAKS, TX (May 7, 2017) - Playing as the 16-seed Mark Macejewski has won the San Antonio Mid-Amateur Match Play title.
In the final at Fair Oaks Ranch Golf & Country Club Macejewski was able to outlast No. 11 Bill Odom 2&1 to win the title.
Macejewski advanced to the title match with a 2&1 semifinal win over No. 12 Brian Marchiori while along the way in the Round of 16 defeating top-seed Michael Freeman.
Odom arrived at the championship match with a 1 up win in the semifinals over two-seed Seth Johnson.
SENIOR DIVISION
In the Senior Division four-seed Craig Hall was the last man standing by way of his 3&2 championship win against No. 15 John Stark.
Hall defeated nine-seed John Pierce 3&2 in the semifinals while Stark handled No. 6 Richard Hageman 3&2.
