COLUMBUS, GA (April 23, 2017) - It came down
to the wire at the Haskins Four-Ball hosted by
the Country Club of Columbus but in the end Adam Cooper and Cason Hammock held on for
the title. Cooper and Hammock were lights out
the first two days shooting rounds of 62-64 but
following a closing 71 and a 197 54-hole total
the duo were just able to hang on for a one shot
victory.
Matt Hayes and Garland Ferrell (65-66-67-
-198) charged hard before settling for second
place, Nolan Pendleton and Bobby Thomas (64-
69-67--200) finished three off the pace in third.
In the Senior Division John Landis Bill
Lenhardt (71-66-67--204) won the title by a pair
of shots over Hamilton Reynolds and Ray White
(69-73-64--206).

Due to the club hosting the Georgia Four-Ball,
the Haskins will not be played in 2020.
Played in honor of Golf Pro Fred Haskins, for
whom the national collegiate player of the year
award is named. Arthur Hills restored this
Donald
Ross gem that also hosts the Southeastern
Amateur. 54 hole tournament; teams will be
flighted after round 2.
