In the Senior Division Tony Ralph emerged in a playoff over John Rotteveel
DAVIS, CA (April 9, 2017) - On the final day of the Davis City Championship Juan Gonzales overcame a three-stroke deficit with a closing 61 to win the title.
With the stellar final round Gonzales, who started the weekend with a 67, finished the tournament at Davis Golf Course 6-under and one shot in front of runner-up Chandler White (-5).
Nick Amen and defending champion Scott Raber shared third at 2-under while Max Ferrari placed fifth at 1-under.
In the Senior Division Tony Ralph emerged in a playoff over John Rotteveel after both players finished regulation tied at 4-over.
Daniel Orovich, Jim Knoll and Steve Roberts all ended up at 5-over and one shot out of the playoff.
Other winners included First Flight champion Bud Christians, Casey Cross in the Second Flight and Jim Fagan in the Third Flight.

36-hole stroke play championship with Open, Senior (ages 50+) and Super Senior (ages 65+) divisions, as well as a Flighted Handicap division for handicaps of 6 and above. NCGA Points Event.
