WEST PALM BEACH, FL (April 9, 2017) - Justin Goodhue combined rounds of 44-43 to post 87 points and win the stableford style Palm Beach County International.

Goodhue, one of three tied for the lead at the start of the round at the PGA National Golf Club Estate Course, was able to surge in front with five birdies (worth four points) while bogeying just three-times (worth 1 point).

Ryan Crowley (43-40--83) was second, Scott Turner (37-44--81) shot the round of the day to finish third, first round co-leader Jeff Helfrich (44-36--80) placed fourth while Ray Greco (34-40--74) was a distant fifth.

ABOUT THE Palm Beach International

Individual Modified Stableford for 36 Holes. Competitors earn 0 points for a Double Bogey or worse. 1 point for Bogey 2 points for Par 4 points for Birdie 5 points for Eagle 5 points for Hole in One 7 points for Double Eagle. Open to all PBCGA Members. There are two divisions. Gross and Handicap. You must select the division you choose to compete in. Player of the Year Award Points will be awarded in the Gross Division. Maximum handicap allowed is 18.
